Here at Birthright Kapiti, we believe in the power of groups.
We believe it takes a village to raise your children, and we would love to be a part of that village. We also love to connect solo carers with others who understand the unique challenges and privileges that come from raising children alone.
COFFEE GROUPS
Birthright Kapiti has a coffee group each Friday from 9:15am to 10:30am.
This is an opportunity to meet others, chat to staff and connect with those on a similar journey. Baking is also provided by the Good Bitches Baking group.
This group is for registered clients only. Adults only.

We also have a coffee group running at the same time as our foodshare. Wednesday 10am-11am. Children are welcome to attend.
WORKSHOPS
Birthright Kapiti has a variety of workshops running throughout the year. Some run by staff, some led by existing clients to support their peers, and some run in conjunction with Salvation Army.
This is an opportunity to meet others, learn new skills and support your whanau.

EVENTS
Birthright runs whanau friendly events throughout the year, time for you to spend with your tamariki making some memories. These change from term to term and are shared with clients via our monthly newsletter, email and Facebook group.
